Equaleyes also offers an acoustic show for a more mellow singer-songwriter atmosphere. On first is Randy Priest and the Hat Shop Band, singing and playing the songs of middle America. The Hat Shop Band includes Mike Holmes, Andrew Emde, Bob Glasscock, Ben Herbst, Dan Koller and Lois Fry). Their mission statement is simply to play music for love of the music. Amy Crookshanks, executive director of McPaws, wears a different hat for Locals' Night as the great singer she has always been. Her new back-up band consists of Dale James on guitar and vocal harmony, David Simmonds on bass, and fiddle backup by Lois Fry. Susie O'Leary returns this year with a band and three-part vocalharmony. Susie has been a favorite from Riggins to Cascade for a long time. She is joined by Dale James on guitar and Lois Fry on fiddle. Next comes Jimmy Bivens, dubbed an honorary local, is a singer/songwriter and dynamite performer, and over the last year has toured in Europe and played at Crusty's Pizza and Wednesday Nights at Roseberry, among others. McCall's new generation of performers has produced some very impressive musical creativity, namely, the members of the last two groups on the Locals' Night ticket: Perry Garfunkle and the Disappearing Delta, a 3-piece group of high-energy, highly-creative improvizational rock. starring Dylan Crawford on lead guitar and vocals, Willy Smart on bass and Josh Griffith on drums. The group has played at Babblefish, Crusty's and Common Ground Cybercafé. EqualEyes, now at local celebrity status, is headed by Jeff Crosby, singer/songwriter/lead guitar, with Brian Louderbough playing bass and Will Prescott on drums. They play originals as well as cover tunes!
They will end up the night and invite the other musicians to the stage in a final half-hour of jammin
